Texecom’s Patrick Kyle picks up the award from Ian Robertson (L) and PSI editor Andy Clutton (R)
Texecom is delighted that installers across the UK have chosen to award Premier Elite Wireless systems as ‘Intruder Alarm Product 2016’
Premier Elite systems offer a complete range of commercial grade, expandable, communicating control panels featuring integration compatibility with leading access control, CCTV, home automation and managed alarm-signalling providers. Each Premier Elite control panel shares the same programming platform and peripheral devices, ensuring instant product familiarity across the range.
Ricochet® enabled wireless devices receive and repeat wireless transmissions from other devices. The size, scalability and range of the entire system are extended as wireless signalling is not limited by point-to-point communications.
The range of a Ricochet enabled wireless system is greater than previous systems, with multiple devices capable of relaying messages to and from even the most remote locations in a building. Each Ricochet enabled device provides signalling routes to and from Texecom Premier Control Panels. Should wireless connection between two devices weaken, the network will ‘self-heal’ and automatically re-route communications via alternate Ricochet enabled devices. With more Ricochet enabled devices installed, the greater the reliability of the system.
Commenting on the award, Clym Brown, Marketing Director said: “The PSI Premier Awards are significant to Texecom because they are voted for by the people that really matter; the specifiers and installers that choose the products used in the field. We are delighted that the Premier Elite Wireless range has been recognised by the industry as Alarm Product 2016, and would like to thank everyone for their support”.
